Applying her fantastic origami skills to wrap herself in a towel from neck to toe in a way that it couldn't possibly "accidentally" come undone, surrounded by ofuda charms, and holding her bag with clothes and a dagger of honor almost in her hands, Aiyano immerses herself in the water. In the process, she restrains herself from performing this action in the proper manner – letting out a heavy grunt like an old man, and sits like that for a while, not thinking about anything.
"Problems keep piling up, don't they?" – the unwanted thought finally comes to her belatedly. She receives no sensible answer or continuation.
The best method for dealing with difficulties that she has developed over the decades is to ignore them in the present moment and gradually contemplate them over a long period. This way, the chance of making a mistake approaches zero, and, moreover, on the level of her own thoughts, she arrogantly shows the problem that it doesn't bother her, and she gets a small dose of confidence and control over the situation from it. Does it sound silly? Ineffective? But it really works.
Startled by the realization that she is starting to doze off, and clutching her bag more tightly, she sits for a little longer before finally deciding to get out.
Returning the ofuda charms to their deck, she tidies herself up, gets dressed in the tightest and darkest corner of the changing room, and leaves the pond.
