- Are you watching your weight? - asks the waitress, placing the coffee Garrett ordered on the table. - That's very commendable.
She smiles and walks away.
Garrett overhears a conversation between two high school girls.
- Hey, have you ever been to ????
- Nope, it's a restricted area for civilians. What's there?
- They do things to those so-called "caliphophobes" there.
- Really? You're kidding!
- Honestly, my sister works there. She told me things that would make you not want to be alone at night.
- Yikes.
"What are they doing to whom? These kids these days, they listen to all sorts of fancy terms in their lectures, and then a simple adventurer has to figure out what it all means."
One thing is clear - ??? is definitely not the right place. Maybe that store with the funny picture, which also happens to be a clothing boutique, or somewhere in the hidden corners of Taisa. However, after the incident with Merel, it became clear that it's best not to go into the Void.
After finishing his coffee, Garrett looked at the dense tree crowns, gently swaying behind the large window. All in all, it's a pretty good place for tourism. If it weren't for the mission, he could easily relax here for a bit, get away from the noise and bustle of Margel. But now, he has to constantly be on his guard, searching for the information he needs to progress.
Regarding the ???, he decided to first report what he heard to Erefir, so upon returning to the hotel, he tells her about the restricted area and the dark deeds being committed there against the "caliphophobes."

Yes, Frag is doing a good job, I'm just sad that he's not more involved in the story, as he's an important character with good skills.
I feel a bit awkward myself, especially since I'll be away for another day 😔 I'll be freer on Thursday.
