By the way, I didn't understand before why some Chaos Dwarf heroes have white beards, and others have red beards. At first, I thought it was based on gender. But then I figured that white-bearded ones are, conditionally, conservatives, and red-bearded ones are, figuratively speaking, Dwarves of the "new formation." Is my guess correct?

Yes, the "red-bearded" ones are a younger group of lords, heroes from the alt-grade. They gained lands and influence through military campaigns in the far north (Chaos Dwarves live in the south; their main enemies are mages and orcs, sometimes the Sylvan).

Dark Elves let these Dwarves pass to the north, or they were afraid to mess with the Dwarf army, or they decided that since the Dwarves weren't bothering them, they could avoid fighting them.

But there's a funny thing: on the icons, they are all gray-haired, and the only non-gray-haired Dwarf is part of the "gray-bearded" heroes, lol.
