Alaria watched the scene unfolding before her with surprise. First, Problemsolvdt ordered his intern to tinker with the lamp again, and then... then a blue-haired djinn appeared from the lamp again, cast a spell, and did even more than she was asked to do – she cleaved the abomination in two with a single swing of a sea sword. It immediately brought to mind stories about the Vistarians – noble and selfless blue-haired warriors. Perhaps they weren't as flamboyant or self-satisfied as their savior, but she had more than earned that right. And Alaria herself would hardly have resisted doing the same if she were in their place.
Soon after, their faithful stress ball had a heart attack and flew back to Margel. As the Tanarsian saw it, the eyes of Yulizia, who was watching the departing parrot, read, "Take me with you!" But they still had one more apostle to deal with before they headed "home." A funny choice of words, considering that Alaria had spent much more time in Calcite than there. However, it was also amusing that her combat skills hadn't yet been needed for hunting down the Heart carriers. They were acting more as insurance against danger. In general, that was also an important function, but for now, her knowledge of Calcite was still more useful.
"It's a bit of a shame that I'm not an artist. Such a spectacle deserves to be captured on canvas."
