As they continue down the corridor, the floor suddenly disappears beneath Beata and Gion's feet. The girl manages to jump back in time, while the boy falls down and then slides down on his backside. Finding himself in a room devoid of any light, he can't hear Beata, and she can't hear him.

Damn, I wrote the dialogue, and then I only noticed that they CAN'T hear each other.

- M-m-m... - Gion rubbed his forehead. - Beata? Beata?!
Desperate to reach her, he first cautiously feels the floor around him, then tries to climb back up by touch.

Panicked Beata, upstairs, with incredible willpower, convinces herself not to grab her crossbow and fire an entire magazine into the head of the establishment's employee, but instead looks for levers, switches, and secret doors.
