Perhaps it was “just” a cultural shock, but Alaria found the establishment in Dernau to be rather unsettling. And the selection was “interesting” – the old man and his beetles could pierce anything, but not ears. It wasn’t that the tanarite herself was against piercings in other places, but not piercings done by suspicious insects on a suspicious old man. And in terms of aesthetics, something simpler in the navel or eyebrows would look much better than the extravagant embellishments with precious stones. The establishment was clearly not for her.
For her last stop of the visit, Alaria decided to browse the selection at the caravan-serai, while the shop of Shara was left for tomorrow.
