B****, Astral, now I'm really mad at you. Do you understand that with this decision, you are devaluing Ment's sacrifice? Why save a champion who will just wipe himself out again, instead of a truly valuable leader and player?!

Let me play devil's advocate... The only reason Astral-3 remained on the ship is because "it's a player character, and it wouldn't be right to remove him." In terms of roleplaying, this character interacted with the others less than even any of the NPCs and was relatively useless in combat. So, in a way, it even turned out to be a good learning experience.
