Perhaps it was a bandit. Perhaps a monster disguised as a human, waiting for unsuspecting travelers. Or maybe it was just a mirage. Or perhaps it was indeed a traveler, somehow surviving alone and continuing on his way. Alaria didn't see any particular reason to talk, but there were risks. At least, that's how it seemed to her now. Therefore, it was safer to avoid the stranger and continue moving towards her destination.
