Keliandra returns to Carnelian and immediately seeks out Raphael. She finds him easily, as he had nowhere to run.
“Raphael, darling, I’m sorry. I was wrong. I shouldn’t have argued with that merchant. I had to search through some rather dubious places to get my nose back to normal. But I was foolish enough to file a complaint about our mutual friend with the Bureau of Magic. Could you go there tomorrow and tell them that I misunderstood the merchant’s intentions and I’m withdrawing my accusations? I would go myself, but they might be interested in my miraculously healed nose...”
Keliandra also briefly tells Raphael everything that happened before the unfortunate attempt to get answers from the merchant. According to her story, after the guards left, she went to a strange, dark place for help in healing her injury.
“I was too angry. Now I will control myself better. I hope you understand!”
Raphael, Raphael... one day you will hear beautiful singing... I hope...
- Yeah, okay... I’ll go tomorrow, I’ll file a complaint about the merchant’s nose with the Bureau of Wrath... uh-huh, yes, - mumbled Raphael, awakened by Keliandra.
