Well, it depends a lot on luck and how the player plays. In general, Barbarians are better because they require less gold than Necromancers, meaning you can build a larger army.

Nope... it's not about luck! It's about the map and SKILL. Barbarians don't get skeletons after each battle... But Galtran combined with a thousand or so skeletons... ah... it's a fairy tale!!! ;) And the army will be MUCH larger than the Barbarians'.
