Alaria's worst fears were confirmed – there wasn't much decent work here, it wasn't paid as generously as she would have liked, and some of the decent jobs required special talents that none of the three possessed.

Musician for a dinner party Payment: charisma*20 Address: the ship "Pearl of Buruaki" Employer: Abbot Requires the profession of a musician.
It would be nice if at least one of the three could play a musical instrument. Alas, the Tanarian herself was certainly lacking in this area. Singing was something she could do, although public "performances" were limited to the choir back home and that long-ago Reimy beauty contest. And it's not even certain that these skills would be enough to impress anyone. However, it's not that important – they weren't looking for singers here. Perhaps, if she were to return from this mission, she should look in Margel's archives for something on the topic of local vocals.

Clown You need to entertain the guests. Payment: 200 Address: the ship "Pearl of Buruaki" Employer: Abbot
No. Definitely not. Princess's messengers shouldn't stoop to such a level.

Boy(s) for XXX Slaves are so boring... We need real men. Payment: (strength+endurance+beauty+charisma)*5 Address: port, [**] Employer: Thrakia
The warrior was tempted to joke that this was an opportunity for Kenshiro and Kline to become "brothers not only in arms," but she restrained herself. Besides, it was unlikely that they would both take on this job. Kenshiro might not mind – he had already managed to surprise Alaria with his actions more than once. As for Kline... to be honest, there were certain doubts as to whether he even had anything working down there.

Gladiator I need someone who will represent my interests at the tournament in Saria. Payment: 3000 for a victory. Address: port, [**] Employer: Thrakia
They paid well, but the risks associated with this job were enormous. Although Alaria had some experience in deadly tournaments, it was likely that one of the "boys for XXX" would take this job. Something told the Tanarian that they had even more experience in this field.

Probably the only "decent" job here. Eliminating a dangerous monster that threatened local merchants. A good way to improve her reputation and replenish her wallet.

Beheader Keeping my slaves costs me more than I get out of them, so I decided to get rid of them and watch an entertaining show. Payment: 200 Address: [**], [**] Employer: Kingaludda
Once again, the warrior couldn't help but remember Aldra, where this was commonplace. Killing innocents to please a sick sadist. It was unlikely to damage her reputation as much as working as a clown, but it would require a deal with her conscience. Not that her conscience wasn't already stained long before the "journey" to this world, but this job didn't make it any less repulsive.

A job similar to the previous one, only it required more effort and paid better. Given their finances, Kline, focused on the success of the mission, could very well decide that it made sense for them to take on this job. And Alaria perfectly understood that she was not in a position to contradict the commander of their squad. Comforting herself with the fact that they had a "good" mission after something like this would no longer work. Even she herself wouldn't believe such a lie, no matter how hard she tried or wanted to. Perhaps, she shouldn't have sailed south after all.
