Later, Princess Narya visits the guard headquarters. After a very long and tense dialogue, Elliot Ironboot agrees to release all members of Carneol from custody, except for Beata. The next day, a trial was held, and since there was no evidence of Beata's involvement in the murders of Antonius Blake and Gloria Mansell (Elliot Ironboot was an experienced investigator and simply acted on intuition, hoping to expose the suspect – maybe he would get lucky), she was sentenced to a month of imprisonment – for illegal trespassing and resisting arrest. Her enchanted boots were confiscated because she admitted they were stolen; the rest of her belongings will be returned to her after she completes her prison sentence. Her companions can visit her in the dungeon (a separate location, requires 3 hours).
