In reality, this chain of connections is not very strong. Mainly because of Batman, to whom approximately 95% of the clues easily and naturally lead, since Batman is a very popular character with an extensive mythology. Plus, I would start attracting attention by creating similar chains, lol. I'm a bit of a comedian, but not crazy.
Well, the Master couldn't have been unaware of Batman's popularity. The chain of connections clearly works in both directions. I'm not saying that the Master necessarily had to check all possible alternative chains, but rather, the question is whether he could have provided such an easy clue in the very first night. Nebo
I wasn't really looking for this clue. I've explained why several times in the thread.
Could you please provide a link? I don't remember it offhand. Nebo
Okay. Let's assume. The Master enters "wood carving" into the search, goes to the wiki page, doesn't find any names, and then thinks: "Aha, that character in that book liked to carve wood! I should make it a clue!". That doesn't happen. There should be a connection from the article about wood carving.
Are you sure that doesn't happen? What's the problem with remembering a character's trait? Why must there necessarily be a direct link from wood carving to Eddie? It's the same as saying that the wiki chain must be directly linked to our "quanta" through links, rather than pointing to a specific moment from them.
