I have serious doubts about whether Kraken would suddenly decide to specifically kill Ples-Jones instead of using his ultimate ability. That makes no sense at all. In theory, he could accidentally hit him with his ultimate if Jones also directed his ultimate towards the same unfortunate Neyra, but again, that means someone somewhere messed up the defense. That's also a very specific scenario. And since Tia is clearly not a fighter, it makes sense that she wouldn't resist. So yes, now I'm leaning towards the version that Ples was indeed Tia.
