Yashur, Neyra, since you're both defending the inert town, wouldn't you like to comment on Fragment's statement? If you believe him, then your own version doesn't make sense. If you don't believe him, then there's simply no peaceful role left for him, if I understood Cotton's hint correctly.

Even if we assume that Fragment was charmed, not blocked, the questions remain for you.
1. Why did the Mafia block Ment? They didn't use the block on the first night, but on the second night, they suddenly needed to... Not to kill Beckett, not for protection, but specifically a block...
Probably they checked and discovered the "not a pirate" status and blocked protection/guard/heal... Then Ment is Turner. Or Norrington.
2. The newspaper showed 5 night actions (not counting Ment's death and my resurrection).
A block from the Mafia, a check from Gibbs, a steal from the monkey, a guard or protection, and something "tricky"...
If Ment is Turner or Norrington, then we get a night action from the monkey, which means you have rum.
But if Ment is, suddenly, Gibbs, then where is the night action from the monkey (not a steal, but something else)? Ment isn't the monkey. So you have a hat or no items at all.
Who are you then? A healer? I wouldn't believe it... Norrington?
