Thank you for the work you've done!
There are a few nuances when doing the translation:
1 - you don't need to delete MMH55-Texts-EN.pak, as the game reads files from all archives and uses the .txt files with the most recent date, even if it's from multiple archives.
2 - inserting the previous Ru translation into the En folder, completely replacing the files, is not a good idea, as all new files that have been modified in subsequent versions will be replaced with the old ones from the Ru translation, but they will be incorrect (for example, in version RC18, they changed an artifact, giving it +2 "Knowledge" instead of +2 "Attack," but you will still see +2 "Attack" because the file is old. If MMH55-Texts-EN.pak is present, the English text will be displayed, which allows you to see errors during testing).
3 - ideally, you should extract both archives, MMH55-Texts-EN.pak and MMH55-Texts-Ru.pak, into different folders, and then compare them by file modification date. You can delete files from the En folder if their date is older than the date in the Ru folder, and then translate the remaining files in the En folder. This is a long and tedious process. At the same time, it sometimes happens that there are additional files in the En folder that are not in the Ru folder, and their modification date is not 2023, but 2018, for example. If you delete it and don't translate it, the game will either display English text if MMH55-Texts-EN.pak is present, or an empty field, or the Russian text from the original game, which does not correspond to the translation.

If you have any questions about the translation, you can find me on the mod's Discord channel.
Point by point.
1. From my experience, when copying Ru without deleting En, the translation was incorrect. I don't know the reason, I didn't investigate it, and I didn't want to. Therefore, it's better to completely replace it.
2 and 3. I wrote the post about combining before I started the translation. During the translation, I merged the 2 En versions (16 and 18) to determine the entire pool of changes. Comparisons were made down to the text content of all files in the pac. After identifying all the changes and missing files, I then did the translation. That is, all version changes are taken into account in the translation (if, of course, I didn't miss anything ))). Moreover, I tried to correct minor inaccuracies in the translation of version 16
