If they had stayed in Dracena, things would probably have been better... Or they would have died more heroically.
Is this about our guy from that expansion? 😔
June 3rd, 975, Narria's country villa.
Wizards in comical robes bustle about, drawing geometric shapes on the floor, singing in chorus, and performing other rituals. In the midst of this chaos, Narria es Diesra Arual sits and plays the organ, her own blood dripping from her hands.
During this procession, dozens of candles ignite with a crimson flame, and the fire aggressively spreads along all the lines of each geometric figure. A blinding lightning bolt strikes the center. In its place, Garret appears.
The fall into darkness ended abruptly, as if he had only dozed off for a moment, and then an external force tore him from the embrace of blissful oblivion. Blinded by a bright flash, he falls to his knees, and through the ringing in his ears, he barely hears something else landing nearby with a clatter and a dull thud. Opening his eyes, the first thing Garret sees is a knife and a skull – all that remains of Harold. Looking at the blade, he feels a phantom pain in his chest. Feeling the spot where he was struck, he discovers that the mortal wound has disappeared, as if it had never been inflicted.
The ringing in his ears turns into a solemn and mournful melody. In his peripheral vision, he notices many indistinct figures around him, and directly in front of him – many burning candles, placed at each corner of some infernal pentagram, in the center of which he is located. It seems that he is still surrounded, and they are about to do something unknown to him. Garret looks around with a wild gaze, sees strange people in robes, and then – a woman at the organ. She is incredibly beautiful, and her blood-soaked hands flit easily over the keys. It is extremely difficult to tear his gaze away from this scene, and he has to slap himself to break the spell.
Staggering, Garret gets to his feet and, knocking over the candles that are tangled under his feet, backs away from the magical diagram, looking around with the gaze of a cornered beast, searching for a way out.
