Sometimes I manage to build with a Citadel of Birds and Ogres, but many times I get punished for it, with players attacking on the 3rd or 4th week with three or four high-level Obeyers, with a book, etc.
By building Bears on the first week, you automatically become defenseless against a rush, and so on.
It's much better to build the first 4-5 levels (if there are 20 wood for Ogres) with a Citadel, calmly buy whatever is profitable (it depends on the map, sometimes it's more profitable to buy Orcs, sometimes Birds, etc.), and calmly build a Castle with a Monastery or a Capitol on the second week (which is especially great), and then Bears on the third week, and everything will be fine=):smile44:
