Something familiar... I think there was some kind of gimmick with these opponents in that expansion, but I don't remember anymore.

Essential Magic (Soulstealers)

Essential Magic Techniques
+1% to Spell Power for each point of Strength, Perception, Agility, Endurance, and Spirit.
Essential Magic Spells
Life Drain
Steals 100% (Spell Power) health from the target (permanently) and transfers it to self until the end of the battle.
Damage type: cosmic.
Range: 10
Essence Drain
Steals 1 random attribute from the target and transfers it to self permanently.
Range: 10
Spell Power/10 is added to the Will throw.
Abyss
Steals 20% (Spell Power) health (permanently) from all opponents on the map and transfers it to self until the end of the battle.
Substitution
The character transfers their mind into the target's body, retains their skills, but receives the victim's attributes. In case of failure, the caster's mind is destroyed.
Spell Power/10 is added to the Will throw.
