It seems pointless to kill them completely. They will still resurrect according to the script and, as far as I know, they don't have any items.

But I insist on killing them, at least for the experience. Otherwise, how will I level up my mentor? I won't be able to train a necromancer to a decent level, and there will be no one to defend the castles. I have one strategy for playing all the games.

I gave Alaric the shackles, and then took them back in battle. Now all the dummies are stuck and not moving)))) I'm going to tear my hair out.

No, they do have items. Alaric has a ring that gives 20% initiative, and Dugald runs around with a bow. Fortunately, if you replay the game 100 times, you can figure out a strategy to defeat them all before the AI figures out to press the escape button.
