Well, I'm no expert, but it seems like the problem is with your video card, which, as I understand, is integrated... And it probably doesn't have enough video memory for the game... I have 512 MB of video memory, and even that causes the game to lag...
Although, I repeat, I'm not an expert..:o
The video memory is sufficient because video memory is needed to process textures, and I have the minimum settings. That is, I have the minimum number of textures at a resolution of 1024x768. It should even work on a 64 MB card ;). Of course, with an integrated video card, there's no point in talking about anisotropic filtering and the like...
My integrated video card performs at the level of a GF6200-GF6200LE, which is much more powerful than a 440MX or Radeon 8500.
If the video card was overheating due to a heavy load on the pipelines, the game would simply be covered with "artifacts" and stripes.

Have you tried skipping the video immediately after it loads?? I read about this bug somewhere... In general, there can be glitches in Heroes with an integrated video card.
And I didn't quite understand this phrase... The expansion is not a separate game and doesn't depend on the two previous parts, and there haven't been any patches for it yet.
I never watch videos more than once :), and I don't like waiting because I don't have time for that.
Maybe the problem is with the drivers for the integrated video card. I need to download an update from Asus. I'll try it when I get home from work. Maybe this will fix the problems with the game lagging.
Probably "Tribes of the East" uses the same engine, albeit a modified one, as the previous parts. Usually, all "previous" patches are included in the new version of the game. I was just being cautious, just in case. You never know....:o
