So, since Markel is here, it means the connection to the events of the Third Eclipse is diminishing. Markel is, of course, not young during the events of the War of Queen Isabel (969 AD), but he probably didn't live in the eighth century.

Well, considering that the last mention of Sandro is considered to be "many years after 717," and given that Markel was Sandro's student, and by 969 he was dead, the map author doesn't contradict the lore, because he doesn't explain anything at all, haha.

But I remembered that Markel, in the original campaign, in the first mission, if you attack a group of mages, says, "I'll have to wait ANOTHER couple of hundred years for the plan to mature." So maybe he's already been living for more than a hundred years. Kaspar is also a long-lived character, and that's fine.
