NCF – Extended list of Neutral creatures.

I'm completely clueless about this; please tell me what programs I need (when I open it with Notepad, all I see are hieroglyphs).

Open the mod itself using any archive program, for example, WinRAR or 7-Zip. You opened it with Notepad – that’s too early. You need to open the files INSIDE the mod with Notepad.
