I imported models, but not animations. I rarely try to learn something new because failures really discourage me.

Actually, it's quite simple; the main thing is to install version 9, and then version 6 on top of it, but I'm still scared because sometimes importing into Heroes 5, even with version 6, doesn't work. This happened to me the first time, and a couple of times people asked me how to fix it, but I don't know, and that's why I'm afraid to install and reinstall it.

In the worst case, I'll ask Hannikka to port it.
