Additional memory for the game.

Hello everyone. I wanted to ask if there is a way to add more memory to the game. I know that the game is quite old, and if you overload it with large files, it will simply crash. However, I would still like to know if there is a way to allocate more space for the game? Perhaps using some programs or by modifying the game's code? Thank you in advance.
