}{0TT@6bI4, you recommended 2 maps: Dark Edges and Hill of the Dead, and IchGViji suggested I play the "Legacy of the Past" map by Andrei_21. Do I understand correctly that if I play these 3 maps and, for example, I like Hill of the Dead more, then this map will become the winner of the contest? And I can write about it in this thread. Or is it decided differently? The question is - is it decided by one person or several?
In December of the outgoing year, a thread with a poll is created on the forum, which includes all the maps for that year. Based on the results of the poll, the map that receives the maximum number of votes becomes the winner (in case of a tie, the vote is cast by someone "holding" the tiebreaker - for example, a moderator). Unfortunately, the number of voters in the poll, although not zero, is insufficient for a full-fledged vote: it would be strange to award the best map based on the votes of 5 users. Due to this, the Cartmaster contest has not been held since 2022.
