The campaign is simple but charming.
I didn't play it before because I wasn't inspired to play as Biara; there's simply no character in the game scarier than her.
But when I finally figured out how to give her a normal succubus model and even added my own texture, it became a different story. The aesthetic aspect is, after all, the most important thing for me.
The linguistic aspect is also important. So, I had to rewrite all the text and remove an incredible number of grammatical errors.
I just don't understand – people write such complex scripts, but they don't know the great and mighty Russian language.
Otherwise, I liked it. I had a bug in the 4th mission – when entering any Castle of the Shadow League, Biara would die, and the mission would fail, but this was probably because I changed the model.
I cleared those Castles with Grok, and although the quest wasn't completed, it was a side quest and didn't affect anything; the purple player still lost.
Thank you to the author, if he still visits the forum.
P.S. The freed Grok and mercenaries can freely enter the Castles; they naturally don't receive the key. The second Castle of Yeshad is impossible to capture. I defeated Vaishan in it, and the victory was counted; all the Dark Elves were eliminated, but no one can enter the Castle (neither the main character nor Grok)... it's completely white, and troops are accumulating there! You can't attack it again. The secondary quest "Fulfill Tralsay's request" is not counted, but the Dark Elves have been eliminated =). There are probably zombies wandering around in their Castle.
P.S. I guess I jinxed it; I liked that the optimization was excellent. In the fourth mission, there's an obvious excess of mentors, and the surface is literally packed with wells, but there are none in the Dungeon.
The dogs have some kind of inflated recruitment rate; I gathered almost three hundred of them in one mission.
In the console, there's nothing but complaints about the lighting (screenshot). The game is clean as a whistle – only installed.
P.S.S. Still, it could be made even more difficult... Summoning + Darkness. In the last battle, if you rush without gates, you'll be defeated by Divine Retribution... so you build gates and only receive attacks from hand-to-hand combat.
