I only know about psychologists in the context of school, and we had a rather strange one.
I will always remember an incident from my first grade: a Soviet psychologist, around balzac age, came to our class during a lesson. While standing by the door, waiting for the teacher to finish her point, she took a pen out of her pocket, unscrewed it, put the tip in her mouth, and sucked on it a little, during which some ink spilled, and her tongue and lips turned blue. Then she put the pen away and wiped her face with a handkerchief.
