Upon completion of the task, Lin and the mercenaries safely returned to Radov. The alchemist's assistant was extremely upset by the news of his death but paid the previously agreed-upon amount. The captain of the guard took note of the information received and asked the mercenaries to thoroughly examine the inside of the statue and also find a way to enter the abandoned mine to inspect it as well.
