I replayed it too, but it didn't quite live up to Alpha Protocol, mainly because of:
- The outdated combat; I didn't get any enjoyment from mashing the left mouse button in melee combat or the clunky gunfights. Towards the end, after drinking the Chinese woman's potion, near the end of the Prince's tavern, I just got tired of it and activated invincibility through the console just to get it over with.
- The outdated engine, which sometimes caused me to get stuck in doors, textures, or other things.
Nevertheless, the atmosphere, setting, and plot are still great, and my opinion of it hasn't changed for the worse over the past, almost two, decades. Even among the characters, Jack and V.V. were still my favorites. The first is just a cool guy, what more can I say, and the second appeals to me because of the contrast created by her humanity, tenderness, and romanticism against all the harsh stuff that's going on around her.

I also saw information that a new installment in the series is in development, but in this age of mediocrity, unfortunately, I don't expect anything good.
