Searching for mods (looking for mods for Tribes of the East).

Well, regarding IDs, that makes sense... I just thought that if they can change models/animations, they should definitely be able to add factions too...

With Heroes 5, everything is very interesting – you can create mods that replace units with NCF creatures without even understanding modeling. I created my own Dark Gnomes using WinRar, Notepad, Paint.net, and the map editor when I was in school. I learned to mod by analyzing other people's mods (and I still don't know much, I use the same tools + porting). But to delve into the code, you need to understand at least something about it.
