I adjusted it for the edges when not in windowed mode and with maximum settings. If you're playing in windowed mode (4:3), the dialogue boxes (where the text is) go beyond the edges, but the text and button are displayed normally.
I don't know about other interfaces. You need to look at the mod structures.
