I guess I'm just lucky, but I've never come across such an opinion. I have encountered hate towards characters with flaws, even if the idea is that these are flaws. But that's a bit different, as I understand it.

I just rewatched the CinemaSins video about this movie because I became interested in the movie itself when I watched their videos. The narrator is practically overflowing with negativity on this topic. However, he also perceives the main character as a negative character, which is a bit of an exaggeration. He's just an ordinary guy with some flaws.
