Fallen Knight

I captured Castlecross. The -10 to Battle Defense remains unchanged. If the monk is killed, is that not a problem? Or should I also keep him? Both are barely surviving. I have little money. The fog is annoying. I'm quite the complainer. There are so many great artifacts in the shops, but I don't have the money.

There's a tavern to the left and below Castlecross. I don't understand its function. There are no heroes, and no rumors.
