Which level 5 monster is the best?

I don't understand why, for many, the leadership of the Gorgons is so surprising? Deadly Gaze is an incredibly powerful ability! Yes, the Thieves' Guild considers Pit Lords to be the strongest, but objectively, it's definitely the Mighty Gorgons! Might and Magic – this is death for monsters of level 7!
