Back when versions like "The Shadow of Death" and "Armageddon's Blade" were just emerging, there was a lot of discussion among my peers about this strategy game. Stories about battles, friends getting "owned" by destroying their own armies due to underestimating the opponent, and of course, great victories – all of this captured the interest of teenagers at that time (I was still in school... :)) and fueled the competitive spirit. And one day, I thought, why not try playing this large-scale strategy game myself? :) And so, the moment came... We gathered, four of us, to go to a club and try our hand at this exciting and incredibly interesting game. As a newbie, I chose a castle that I wasn't familiar with – the Rampart (and I didn't regret it later...). My first map was called "Forward, Vikings!" (I think many people know it ;)), meaning we were playing against computer opponents. I even managed to defeat one of them, and of course, I was grinning from ear to ear, practically drooling with happiness... :D, but I guess I was celebrating too soon..., - shortly after the victory, I was defeated... :(, but I started trying to improve my game in Heroes, and some kind of motivation, a desire to win, appeared... I've been playing Heroes to this day, for about 7-8 years, but nevertheless - I'm constantly learning something new..., there are no limits to this game! - that's why I appreciate it :)
