I absolutely love this scene and consider it very iconic and important for the Doctor. For once, he used his reputation, and it was about time. And it's beautifully staged.
However, the Moffat era in general, and the Eleventh Doctor in particular, didn't immediately appeal to me, so it's partly a matter of taste.
