Rounding 0.6 up to 1 is absurd, not from a mathematical point of view (the rounding rules are followed), but from a logical one. It's like considering a 60% completion rate to be equal to 100%.
I rounded it for convenience, because the result will most likely always vary.
Furthermore, the accumulated spell power does not affect the formula for calculating additional spell power – it is still HeroLevel/5. Regardless of the skills and stats. Therefore, any Necromancer at level 20 will have, say, 16 spell power (without artifacts), and Vlad will have the same, but when casting Raise Dead, he will receive an additional 20/5 = 4 SP. Other heroes can also max out skills like Lord of Life, etc., but I don't see the point in focusing solely on raising the dead at high levels; at the very least, I'm not sure that the extra 4 or even 6 spell power is worth it.
Dear sir, I conducted these calculations precisely to show the misconception that players have regarding the reasoning – we don't start from the formula; the formula starts from us – HeroLevel/5 is a nominal effect because it is entirely based on our spell power.
In the late game, I believe that raising the dead is simply useless in the final stages and is an unnecessary perk.
Feel free to disagree, but in the late game, Vlad can outlast the League, outplay the Human, and defeat the Elf in a war of attrition.
.
But, I think good players can manage without the extra spell power from raising the dead, i.e., on other Necromancers.
There is a significant misconception here. Let me explain:
1) Can anyone in the Academy of Magic be stronger on the Dark faction than Faizel? No – due to the setup and convenience, he is the strongest Dark faction mage.
2) Can anyone in the game be better with Armageddon than a Dwarf? Unfortunately, no – the mountain people have the ideal setup for a strategy with this spell.
3) Is there anyone in the game better than Elves at rushing? Sadly, they are the best at attacking the enemy in the early turns.
The setup, my dear sir, is what determines the success of any plan. Vlad is the strongest ressurrector in the game because of his setup for Raise Dead.
