Interesting question. I have no understanding of the mechanics, so I can't say whether the old version will be more interesting than the released one.

It's no wonder that the racial ability of the "Haven" faction always seemed to me to be weaker compared to other racial abilities. As it turns out, it was indeed significantly reduced.
