I tried it a few years ago, but didn't like it; now, with the release of the expansions, I decided to give it another chance.


In the next installment, you'll probably get penalties for not switching to eating insects and for not banning meat. But overall, it's good, roughly like the fifth game, only it plays a little differently. I liked that the technologies are divided into two branches, and the district system is cool. In the previous games, there were always optimal solutions for any situation, but here you sometimes have to think ahead, as the slots are limited, and the districts have different capabilities. And it's also cool that you place wonders directly on the map. The AI seems even dumber to me than in the previous game - I played on 5 out of 8 difficulty levels on the largest map and was ahead in all victory conditions. In the third game, it wasn't even easy on the second difficulty level...
