I agree that Conflux is an overpowered castle. And if you learn to play it well, it becomes one of the strongest castles. The main thing is to master the Axiom and use the strengths of the creatures. That's all there is to it, and each creature has plenty of strengths. The only problem is that they almost have no opportunity to maneuver tactically during combat, although maybe that's for the best – there's no need to look for the best option for each turn.
