What is more important: luck or fighting spirit?

Read above, if you attack twice due to morale, you might get hit back, and sometimes quite hard, especially if you're fighting nasty griffins.

Of course, one can't disagree with that, but morale is still more useful:
for example, you can attack one group and then another, or escape from the range of some units, or chase someone down....
