Current questions and answers regarding the map editor.

Hello everyone. I am a regular Heroes player; I don’t know much about various modding utilities, and I don’t understand the game files, etc. In short, I’m a complete newbie. But still, please tell me how to change the heroes in campaigns, specifically their skills and spells (Godric, Rylag, etc.). How can I do this? Can I simply find the right file in the root folder and edit it? Or do I need a utility or program that allows me to thoroughly “explore” the file tree and work there?
