There are a total of 36 levels, and throughout the game, it constantly throws something new at you, without any routine. In other words, instead of a difficulty progression, which I generally don't like (sometimes you reach the very end, but you're already too tired to spend several hours fighting the last boss, and in the end, you just give up), you're simply given new and new tasks.
