I used to spend quite a bit of time in Perfect World, which was a clone of the Lineage series. Now, years later, the same company is making a clone of Genshin, so it's fair to compare the two. The combat, animations, and interface are definitely better here. That is, everything related to the mechanical part. In my opinion, the setting is worse, and the characters are also less expressive in their design – of all of them, only Echo stood out and I remember her. I liked the narrative format more, not least because you play as a character with their own opinions and lines, rather than a blank slate, which is somewhat amusing since the character customization is available here and not in Genshin. I think I would have enjoyed playing it a few years ago, but now this format is definitely not for me anymore.
