In RedHeavenHero's randomizer, the random function is only created upon initialization of the randomizer, i.e., when the InitRandom() function is called. You need to add this line to the beginning of the script.

Perhaps, summoning skill is required to cast the heavenly shield?
I have encountered a situation where I cannot cast masscare without light magic.
