And who uses cannons these days – it’s not World War II after all (at least in developed countries). Everywhere, there are multiple launch rocket systems (“Grad” and others).

They still use them. :)
And, by the way, in developed countries too... Modern anti-tank guns, for example, are much more effective and expensive than non-kinetic means of fighting tanks – missile systems, etc.
Besides, there could be a war in the mountains, where practice has shown the low effectiveness of multiple launch rocket systems. There, it is much more important to hit a specific target, rather than cover a large area with missiles. There are also mortars... :)
