Yatropha was born in one of the countries of the Eastern Federation, into a family of wealthy immigrants. Her father was a successful lawyer, and her mother was a famous singer, and yet they both managed to devote enough time and attention to their daughter, so her childhood was carefree, she was surrounded by love and care, and she never lacked anything. However, her happy life ended on the day her family decided to go on vacation – being followers of the cult of the Seven (Avaritia and Superbia, respectively), they really wanted to visit Elysium. On the way to this distant country, the ship they were on was ambushed by Leavian pirates, and all the passengers were either killed or taken prisoner and then sold into slavery. Yatropha ended up on a small island near the borders of Sakuramoria, Leavia, and Sangvinaria, about which almost no one knew at that time. The Leavian aristocrat to whom it belonged was engaged in all sorts of medical experiments in an attempt to either create new medicines or create new diseases and antidotes for them, all in order to increase his own capital and gain international fame as a savior of Lafrenia. Yatropha and others like her spent several years on this island before it became known to His Majesty, who ordered the Sakuramorian fleet to take control of the island. When this happened, the King of Sakuramoria offered the freed Yatropha the opportunity to take revenge on her oppressors, and she took advantage of it, subjecting them to cruel torture. After that, not knowing what to do with her life, Yatropha swore allegiance to the king and has since served as his bodyguard and specialist in advanced interrogation methods. There are rumors that during her service, she learned a rare technique that allows her to hide in the shadows, from which she protects her patron.
