That's exactly the point; I read it, and that's why I asked in the first place!

But why didn't the judges update the rules? It's confusing!
Players mainly look at the rules before starting, not browse the entire thread, right?

Besides, think about it: tournament rules aren't like a mosaic; they aren't assembled piece by piece in the tournament thread. If they exist, they should be in the tournament description. And the judges' posts are informative and duplicate changes in the rules if they are mentioned in the posts.

Otherwise, you can refer to any post... and what's the point? What if the rules were introduced and then decided not to be activated? Or were revised? Anything could happen! With the wording "the judge was confused."

To avoid confusion, there should be a single set of rules written at the beginning of this thread.
