A bit of surrealism – at the beginning of the second month, Marbas came to me with some kind of cosmic army, and I hid from him in a castle (although, with his creatures, it doesn't really make sense). After a mass retreat and the first shot, he just ran away. Somehow, at the cost of his entire army, I managed to take a demonic city from him, even though he only had a one-week collection of units – and the game gave me a message like, "They are fighting as if we were invading their territory; to be continued." Then I freed Ellaine (I thought she was in that city, but the random devils in the forest weren't involved), and I was given the task "to drive out the demons." But they were already gone.
